The Biebers are heading into 2025 loved-up and drama-free.
Since they tied the knot back in 2018, Justin and Hailey Bieber have faced a ton of speculation about the state of their marriage.
And even after welcoming a son together, Jack Blues Bieber, in August 2024, the couple still cannot avoid divorce speculation as fans continue to scrutinize their every move on social media.
Most recently, a TikToker called Sloan Hooks posted a speculative video alleging that he’d received an anonymous tip from someone who claimed it “doesn’t look like things are going well” between Justin and Hailey.
In the TikTok — which was shared on Dec. 29 and currently has over 5.6 million views — the user picked apart Justin and Hailey’s recent social media activity, suggesting that the pair had each been subtly dropping hints that they’re facing issues in their marriage.
A day later, Hailey seemingly responded to the online chatter on her Instagram Story by posting another TikTok about people who are “not well,” adding the pointed caption: “Me to all of you on the internet.”
In the video, the creator, Bernard Joseph Velasquez, begins by saying: “You’re not well and it’s OK. You’ve done made a lot of choices. The choices that you made done put you in situations that you hate. You don’t want to be in those situations. You recognize every day when you wake up, ‘Fuck, this is the reality that I made for myself.’”
While it’s possible that Hailey was hinting at something else, Sloan Hooks assumed that her Instagram Story was a direct hit at his TikTok about their marriage, saying in a follow-up video that he’s “sorry” and “not trying to upset anyone.”
Despite this, the creator doubled down on his theory that something could be awry with the Biebers, questioning why the couple were spending New Year’s Eve apart — or so he thought.
Amid all the online discourse, the Biebers both took to Instagram over the New Year to give fans a glimpse into their intimate celebrations — which looked to include caviar-topped burgers, martinis, and some snuggles with baby Jack.
And while Justin wasn’t featured in Hailey’s grid post, the singer cleared up any confusion about his whereabouts by posting a photograph to his Instagram Story showing the Rhode founder posing on the stairs in her New Year outfit — which consisted of a pink bikini and a fur coat, paired with boots and a shiny “Happy New Year” headband.
Making a statement about the strength of their bond, JB captioned the post: “Goin anywhere with u bb… Happy new year.”
